• |AC| vs |LC| - Date/Time: Wednesday October 26 - 8:00pm CST
With survival at stake, |AC| and |LC| took center stage in what can only be described as a fantastic ending to Stage 1 of the Tourney. The objective was simple. Be the team with the highest score at the end of 2 rounds, and move on with |SW| and |XT| to Stage 2. The first round began with a fury and points were exchanged like balls on a tennis court. Both |AC| and |LC| wanted the victory badly in a match where every point mattered. Half-way through Round 1, both teams had secured a 5-flag victory. A lagging Fake had technical difficulties and timed out numerous times. This was to |AC|'s advantage. With despair in his eyes, Fake was ready to give up. But he wouldn't leave before making his mark. Perta and Fake together capped three flags in an incredibly well-timed team effort by |LC| to put them up in score. Fake timed out and was quickly replaced by Beer Belly. Round 1 ended with |LC| up 184-78. The heat was on for |AC|. Another 30 minutes of play was all they had left to bounce back. If Round 1 wasn't back-and-forth enough, Round 2 proved to be even more heated as both teams gave it their all. Several 5-flag victories were had. But again the teamwork abilities of |LC| proved to be too much for |AC|. Perta, Matt and Beer Belly would bring the victory home to |LC| and advance to Stage 2 of the Tourney with a Round 2 score of 244-190. Special mentions go out to Ian, Matt and Fake who played their first-ever Tourney match in {CPD}! Great job to all.

• |XT| vs |SW| - Date/Time: Sunday August 28 - 2:00pm CST
No doubt the most talent-filled, high-calibre match in {CPD} history, the tension was paramount in the private server as |XT| and |SW| faced each other for the first time in the Tourney. Both teams came in with perfect scores. Two victories and no losses. One team would leave with a hit to their stats. Round 1 began with |XT| on Allies and |SW| on Axis. It was point-for-point right til the end but |XT| came through with a huge 5-flag victory to put them up. A rare sight was DeAdMeAt assuming an MG position by the Axis 1st flag to stop the assault. Another quick vic gave round 1 to |XT|. Final score 135-25. |SW| knew that they had already clinched a spot in Stage 2, but the well-oiled machine wanted a win. Point-for-point again they went and it wasn't until midway through that |XT| seized an opportunity to capture all 5 flags and win yet another round. Final score in round 2 was 90-35 for the XTreme. |XT| and |SW| will see each other again in Northbound. And the reunion match will be Hell on Earth.

• |LC| vs |XT| - Date/Time: Sunday August 21 - 2:00pm CST
With much at stake, |LC| needed as many points as possible in this match to help ensure their safety in the Tourney. As King looked on in HLTV, the match began with full force. It was back and forth throughout round 1 but a couple of caps put |XT| on top with a final score of 115-59. Starnes and his crew turned things up a notch in round 2. With a 5-flag victory of their own, |LC| proved that they could definitely put up a fight but ended up coming short at the end. The final score after round 2 was 202-93 in favor of |XT|. With two big matches remaining in Stage 1 of the Tourney, the best is yet to come.

• |AC| vs |SW| - Date/Time: Tuesday August 9 - 7:00pm CST
MeAting for the first time in the Tourney, |AC| and |SW| were up next in a match that was both luxurious and leaderless. Team leaders DeAdMeAt46 and B were absent for the match but that didn't stop their respective teams from stepping up to the plate. With the assistance of King, |AC| looked to gain some advantage with the leadership expertise of {CPD}'s Lieutenant General. Would this prove enough to take down MeAt's well-oiled machine? After round 1 was all said and done, the score was 153-46 for |SW|. Fearing for their survival in the Tourney, the pressure was on for |AC|. Unfortunately, the Wrath would strike again in round 2 with a pounding score of 266-51 in favor of |SW|. With one game left, |AC| will have to do all that they can to make it through to the next stage of the Tourney.

• |XT| vs |AC| - Date/Time: Sunday July 31 - 4:00pm CST
Mich and B took their teams to the next level as |XT| and |AC| squared off in a match that would shake the Private server. With a stellar roster, |AC| proved to be a problem for |XT| early on. However, the XTreme force of four countries came together and outscored |AC| 212-53 in round 1. But round 2 proved to be an edge-of-your-seat battle once |AC| captured a quick 5-flag victory on the first rush. The pressure was on for |XT|, who proved to do well under it as they came out on top with a score of 151-99.

• |SW| vs |LC| - Date/Time: Sunday July 24 - 5:30pm CST
What a kick-off match it was! |SW| and |LC| started the Tourney off with a fury. With two quick 5-flag victories, |SW| set themselves up for a win in round 1, outscoring |LC| 132-24. |LC| fought back hard in round 2 but came only 3 points shy of a victory against MeAt's well-oiled machine. Round 2's score was 94-92 for |SW|.
