Rules & Regulations

1. Four (4) teams will be participating in {CPD} Tourney 2005.

2. Each team MUST have AT LEAST four (4)* members available to participate in each scheduled match. It is preferable to have 5vs5 or higher matches. Subbing in members from other teams is NOT permitted. Members of a team should be rotated so everyone gets a chance to play in the Tournament.
*May be waived in special circumstances.

3. The matches will consist of two teams playing two 30min rounds on a pre-determined map. Both teams will switch sides after each round. The pre-determined map will be the same map played by all teams in each stage of the competition.
Stage 1's map is Kalt. Stage 2's map is Northbound.

4. Scores will decide which teams advance to the next stage. The team with the lowest combined score after all matches have been played in each stage is eliminated from the Tourney. The team with the highest combined score after all matches have been played will win the title of {CPD} Squad of the Year 2005.

5. The Tourney is comprised of 3 stages. The first stage is comprised of 6 matches, the second stage is comprised of 3 matches, and the Championship stage is comprised of 2 matches. The Championship stage is a special stage, details of which will not be released at this time.

6. The result of a match will be deemed a Tie if both teams end up with the same exact total score after two rounds. This is an extremely rare outcome. A Tie does not result in a re-match.

7. Should a member of a team leave/drop the match after 15min of play, the game will proceed. Please ensure that all members don't have other engagements or computer issues prior to a match. Try to plan all matches around these circumstances.

8. Should a member of a team leave/drop the match before the 15min mark, the game should be reset*. The teams should wait for the missing player to return. If he/she returns, the match should restart. If after 15min, the player does not return and teams are unfairly uneven, the match should be postponed to a later date/time.
*May be waived in special circumstances.

9. Screenshots of the final scores are of utmost importance. DO NOT FORGET to take screenshots after each match. Each member should be instructed to take screenshots so that the likelihood of obtaining a clear screen is better. Screenshots are mandatory and should be sent to Mich at the conclusion of each match.

10. Privates may only participate in a match if their team is in a dire need of a player. Approval from the Tourney Organizer must be obtained in these circumstances. A Private is only ever allowed to play in ONE Tourney match. This is to avoid any utilizing of recently-recruited players to advance in the Tourney.

11. No cheating is allowed. This includes hacks, scripts, questionable binds and out-of-the-norm game settings. Any team/player caught cheating or suspected of cheating will be disqualified from the Tourney and may face additional punishment.

12. Remember to have fun!!!
